If you’ve been religiously following Dynotes, you would have noticed that the MLD for Android just got a fresh new server and more dictionaries. Last week, we also pushed an update to one of our first apps, the English-Arabic Translator. It’s actually been two years since our last update! But the reason that it remains relatively unchanged is because it is great on its own and doesn’t really need an update.

EnAr (English-Arabic Translator) version 3.6.1 now has support for Android 2.0!
After around 10 months of hard work, updates, and downloads, the EnAr finally surpasses the 50 000 downloads plateau!
Like the Multi-Lang Dictionary and Translator, we have upgraded our servers for faster translation loading with more stability as well. We have also matched the latest significant changes of Google Dictionary’s interface. There was also a slight defect regarding changing the orientation of your device. Before, when you flipped your phone into landscape mode (or vice versa) the translation would not be kept and you would have to press one of the look up buttons again. Now this issue is solved.
In version 3.0.6 of English Arabic Translator on Android, we have responded to many user requests, added some new features and fixed some inconveniences.
The English-Arabic Translator (EnAr) is the debut for Arabic on Android! It can translate words, phrases, sentences and even paragraphs into Arabic using Google Translate. The translated text is connected, accurate and nicely formatted so that you won’t have those pesky rectangles showing up on the screen.
